The loss of a loved one

… can be one of life’s most profound and life changing experiences.

More than an ending though, funerals and Life Celebrations
are bridges of transition.

Consider that the words spoken and feelings experienced during
the visitation and the Celebration service help take us from
the tragedy of the death to a place of fond memory
and deep appreciation for the person whose life we're remembering.

Big Ideas, Real Impact.

how we help

Once you've made arrangements with a funeral home, call us.

We'll liaise with the Funeral Directors and meet with your family personally in the days leading up to the Service to gather life stories, reflections and treasured memories in an unhurried manner to ensure accuracy, warmth and meaning.

Your family's Ceremony is treated as a unique occasion to honour your loved one’s memory, and the ceremony itself helps the grief process occur naturally while saying goodbye.

our approach

We present a personalised, comforting and uplifting ceremony affirming the significance of your loved one’s life.

Whether your family chooses a religious, spiritual, or religiously neutral service, we are guided by the beliefs, traditions and customs of your family.

We believe a Life Remembrance Service should be a Celebration of your Loved One’s life with us, and should leave each person attending with the thought that they’ve participated in an event of very special meaning.

our background

A Community Minister with a focus on Chaplaincy and Transpersonal Counselling, I’m an experienced, professional Celebrant whose warmth and presence helps put families at ease during difficult situations.

Working with funeral homes throughout Peel, Halton, Durham and the GTA,
Tim has been trusted by hundreds of families with the services
of their loved ones since 2001.

Along the way, funeral directors have asked him to perform
funeral services for their own families, and to solemnize their marriages.

difficult
circumstances

We are one of the few Ministers who serve families struggling with a loss arising from a traumatic, inflicted or intentional death, from a prenatal/perinatal loss, or from the death of a child.

Having lived through the loss of a child himself, Rev. Tim understands the myriad of emotions affecting families and helps guide them through the funeral process with the experience and empathy of a survivor.
